Light the Night Walk

Hi everyone,

I have just signed up to participate in the Light the Night walk on Tuesday, September 11 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Light the Night walk is a fundraiser for cancer research specifically related to blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma. As you know, Mom was diagnosed with myeloma in January and I am walking in honor of her.

Each walker has been asked to raise at least $200, but I have set a personal goal of $2000. It's a lot of money to raise in 4 weeks, but I think I can do it with your help. I have a donation website you can visit to see my progress and make a secure credit or debit card donation (link at the bottom of the post). I would also appreciate it if you would pass this message and weblink on to anyone you think would be interested in donating to a worthy cause. If anyone is interested in writing a check rather than donating by credit card, they can make the check payable to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and I will hand them in on the night of the walk.
